What Carriers Must Know About Maryland’s 2025 Appointment Renewal Cycle

Maryland’s 2025 appointment renewal season kicks off on June 3, 2025, and closes on August 31, 2025. If you're overseeing Motor Club appointments in Maryland, it’s critical to prepare in advance and avoid lapses that could impact your compliance.

Maryland 2025 Renewal Dates

Starting June 3, 2025, carriers can view and manage renewal invoices for Motor Club appointments through the NIPR platform. The renewal window will officially end on August 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM Central. Failure to pay by this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of those appointments. Find the formal notice at Maryland Appointment Renewals | NIPR.

Terminate Unwanted Appointments by May 24

If you plan to remove any appointments from your renewal billing, terminations must be submitted by May 24, 2025. After invoices are issued, they cannot be changed. For any unresolved terminations, contact the Maryland Insurance Administration to resolve before the cutoff.

lectronic Payments Only—No Paper Checks

All renewal fees must be paid online via NIPR. Physical checks will not be processed and will be returned. Electronic payments are instantly posted, and transaction details are transmitted to Maryland within one business day. Visit Company Appointment Renewals User Agreement for payment instructions.

Fee Breakdown

Each appointment costs $2.00 to renew. NIPR charges a processing fee of 1% on the total amount (minimum $5.00; maximum $1,000.00). All fees are non-refundable, so double-check before confirming your payment.
